Goodnight Punpun v11 (finished)

Just a preliminary post to inform people that I'll start on 2pm EST/11am PST on the 24th. I'll post the link here when I start. In any case, here's the first chapter I posted tonight to tide people over until the 24th.

Hope you guys enjoyed the volume. Also, v14 is apparently set to be the final volume. Enjoy your holidays, folks.

      A Girl By The Sea is only 2 volumes and that last chapter will be published in January.

      the only reason you don't see A Girl By The Sea is because no one is scanning Manga Erotics F, I have the previous chapter raw but missing a bunch between it and v1. :(

    Hox, I just want to thank you so much for the work you've done. I really love this series and I can't wait for 2013's Punpun volumes, although I don't mind waiting because I love the feeling of suspense and 'what-if's.'

    sorry to troll you guys, but I don't feel so depressed when reading Punpun anymore. I like to see where it goes because I go with the flow with this story now. You might think that I'm desensitized, but I don't think that's the case here. I'm anticipating a lot to see how this will all turn out. I'm emotionally invested in Goodnight Punpun more than ever. It might neither be a positive or negative story though there is a lot of negativity in the story. It's a mind screw. Who knows? Only the ending could tell us.

    Just my idea here, but Punpun and Aiko might die together. They might be the 'star-crossed lovers' here, but as far as I know how Asano Inio writes, he might make it his own with a darker twist. Punpun and Aiko's relationship is definitely not romanticized like the other 'star-crossed lovers' stories out there. I don't like how Aiko and Punpun are both breaking each other apart like as if they're meaningless toys to each other. They say that they love each other, but they don't know what love is for starters. They're trying to tear each other apart to see how much the other one loves them, but I feel that all that they will find is disappointment and perhaps something worse, death from each others' hatred.

    I don't want Aiko to die. I feel a lot sorry for her, but Asano Inio seems to have a thing for torturing or brutally killing beauties in his stories. I feel destroyed by reading about how horrible her life is and how she had been mistreated all her life. Aiko seemed to have the most potential out of all. She was beautiful and vibrant, but now she's almost torn apart to pieces.

    Punpun I could care less about. He even had Sachi and she brought a bit of joy in his life. It was crappy to see how the happiness didn't last too long, but Punpun crapped out himself. He doesn't know how to take a stand and goes with the currents of life. A part of me still hopes that he'll be pulled out of his crap thoughts.

    Doesn't he remember what his uncle told him? Would his life still be burning even when he's in his grave?

    I really enjoyed the parallel between Punpun's uncle and Punpun. His uncle chose the other way but Punpun decided to dig his own grave for some reason. He lost it. I'm still nervous with the uncle and Midori though...

    I think Sachi means 'happy' in Japanese. Aiko means 'child of love.' Psycho-Aiko, or Psyko or however you spell it is more like it now. Punpun chose his childhood love over current happiness, but he's now gone further downhill...

    I'm just rambling now. Anyway thanks Hox for translating this brilliant series.

    Hello Hox, I just stumbled upon a person reading Goodnight Punpun and I wanted to check it out as well. I've been trying the link here (I've already downloaded v13, but initially thought it had the complete volumes) but I cannot possibly complete all 13 because this and v10 is not available anymore. Could you maybe make a compressed file of all the volumes and send the link to me? Please please please please :)
