Phocion the Good

After the several month-long break, Historie is finally back! Enjoy the chapter, I know I did. Also, the last page is an ad about Eumenes' board game being included with every volume of Historie v7 set to come out on Nov. 22. Too bad the pieces aren't carved figures, though that'd jack up the prices by quite a bit. As with the previous volumes, v7 will be scanlated so we can get the fixed-up art. The previous HQ rescanlations were done by Project Scanlations but its site has since then gone down so I'm not exactly sure who'll do it this time. Nevertheless, you have my word that it will get done.

    Hox I appreciate your consistently accurate translations. I am familiar with the history involved, and that you bother to apparently confirm the names or at least are skilled enough of picking the intended ones is fantastic.

    Hox, you have a propensity towards historical/ high effort manga. Do you have any interest in possibly doing Otoyomegatari/ A Bride's Story? Chapter 20 has been sitting untranslated for some time. :(

    I got scans of Zero v1 but it unfortunately ends only 1 chapter beyond what I translated so far. I'll try to get that out soon enough but we'll still have to wait until Dec/January for v2 to come out so we can see the conclusion of the golfing arc.

    And as for the other dude, there's no VS this month.

    Haven't received an update from my raw provider yet but even at the fastest, we'll have to wait a couple weeks for the thing to get shipped to his place and for him to debind and scan all 200 or so pages.

    Can you, as soon as your raw provider gets the volume, tell us? The ansiety is killing me for reading the volume 9 of Punpun. I have to be patient, i know these things take time.

    And looks like Punpun is coming back to Big Comic Spirits, the series was on hiatus and will come back at the issue #49 of BCS with color pages for its 100th Chapter.

    I'm just here to say I'm very happy you're still around doing scanlations and that I'll be patiently waiting for the next Goodnight Punpun volume. (I didn't really want to go off-topic around here, but I knew no other place where I could say that! :P)
    If I ever have the time between daily life, studies and work, I might even start a brazilian portuguese of the manga alongside some friends.

    My mediafire site is down, I think MF deleted the main directory or something. The files I've uploaded are still online, but the mediafire.com/hox is not for some reason. My advice would be to use alternate mangasharing sites like mangatraders for now until I get this problem organized. If you're having trouble finding a download link for a particular file, send me an email and I'll upload the ones you're looking for.

    Hello, erm... so, I'm a translator too, from Hungary.
    I know, that you translated te Mirai Nikki manga, and I have one big question about the ending "Murumuru chapter" of the 4th volume... because I didn't found it in any of the englis, nor the spanis scanlations... so would it be a big asking, to translate those few pages from japanese to english?     Yeah, a lot of the english scans on the internet were based on the magazine raws so they don't include the extra Murumuru stuff that was included with the tankobon. I suppose I should go back and translate those as well.
