I LOVE YOU FUKUMOTO (last updated Aug 16)

 

As if you couldn't already tell from the picture above, Gambling Emperor Zero is back from hiatus! I won't give out any spoilers but next week's chapter cannot come out any faster. Since Zero actually has fast pacing unlike 99% of all Fukumoto manga (I would assume the editors of Kodansha Weekly Shonen are responsible for that because it needs to appeal to a younger demographic), I think waiting for the regular volume scans to be out will be a little slow. So, even though I'm technically on a summer break, I'll try my best to keep up with this manga on a weekly basis. That's all for now, folks.

Slight Notice: I won't have access to a computer until 21~22nd so I'll do the next Zero chapter then.
And chapter 2 is finally out. For those who're wondering, new scanlated chapters should normally be out on Tuesday evenings (pacific coast time).
New chapter's finally out. I can't believe I didn't see this coming.

    Ah, yes -- the shounen feel must be why some people are complaining about this being 'brainless' and 'childish' compared to Kaiji and Akagi. But I actually like THR more than I ever did Akagi, and just as much as Kaiji (though Kurosawa remains my favourite work of Fukumoto's to date). Is that 'childish' of me, I wonder?

    this guy have balls of steel xD
    I see there are chinchiro, poker and some card games too.

    Must follow this season, only for seeing how fukumoto puts mahjong in only 2 volumes or so xD

    Don't know if this is a mistake from your part or just weird paneling but it feels like the first chapter's missing a page. I already deleted the files but I'm talking about the pages where the father is presenting his son, and then in the next page there's a large panel with Suezaki. It looks like something was said between both pages but, well, nothing happened.

    Thanks for the answer. Also, I forgot to mention it before, but you typed lier instead of liar in the first chapter. Again I can't remember the page, but it is obnoxious golf prodigy who shouts it to either Sakura or Zero.

    Part 2 only started a month ago and I'm all caught up at 4 chapters. As for download numbers, here's what my mediafire reports:
